Weekend Links

Woo hoo it's Friday! I'm currently getting excited for a little bit of relaxation this week despite just receiving a text from Vance that "we're going to this thing tonight for a little," so basically one of the most vague texts on the planet. We could be going to a party on the moon for six hours for all I know. Well probably not. I'm sure you'll find out on Snapchat, so follow me there >> @faziodanielle. Anyone else having a hard time jumping on the Instagram stories bandwagon? I just keep forgetting that it exists and quite frankly I love me some fruit and dog face filters...

1. I just got my new iPad last week since mine shattered. I only paid $40 because I had purchased Apple Care +, seriously guys it was so worth it since it saved me over $700 since I didn't need to buy a new one. It definitely needed a new case and I LOVE my hand painted marble one from Janet Gwen Designs!! It's so pretty and so sturdy. I'm definitely considered getting a new MacBook case too since all of her items are so reasonably priced.

2. Obsessed with Kate of Lonestar Southern's adorable dalmatian set she styled on her blog!! I need it ASAP!

3. I have a special place in my heart for Jordan of Soul Scripts because she's our wedding photographer (see our engagement photos here), but her blog posts constantly keep me grounded and focused on God. This one about letters to her future husband had in me in full tears because I was that girl. Congrats Jordan and Matt! May God bless your marriage.

4. Cookies and Cream Stuffed Donuts!? Need I say more? NOPE. SO GOOD.

5. I've been taking these awesome new multivitamins, Bridal Boost (c/o), that are designed with brides in mind. They have Vitamin B, Magnesium, Organic Ashwagndha (I can't pronounce it either), Vitamin D3, Vitamin A, Biotin, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K2, Calcium, Zinc, and Selenium. Basically they're great for energy, your hair, skin, nails, stress, and immunity which is everything a bride is looking for! I've been taking them and really have seen in a difference in how I'm feeling! Bride or not, you can get a month's supply for 20% off with the code: BOOSTDANIELLE

6. I know I'm not the only one who has The Chainsmoker's "Closer," on repeat all day long and jams out in the car every time it graces my radio. Here's an amazing cover that they shared that I absolutely love!
7. Madison and Mallory, is one of the newest clothing boutiques that I've really loved recently. I finally got my hands on their lace overlay maxi romper amazingess (unfortunately now sold out!). You need to check them out asap because their items are so cute and really affordable.

8. I wanted to share my instagram post from earlier this week when this older lady came into my office selling plastic flower pens that lifted my heart and will hopefully lift yours this weekend!
Just a quick little story that gave me perspective today. This clearly tired older lady came into our office today with a basket of silk flowers attached to plastic pens. She told us that her husband just died and she didn't know how to make money, so she bought flowers from hobby lobby to make into pens to get by. She was walking door to door selling them to pay her rent in the heat. I think everyone's initial inclination in the world these days to think everyone is lying or not to trust them. I could tell that God was tugging on my heart to help her. I pulled money out of my wallet and she graciously told me to take as many as I wanted. I could see her face light up as she talked about the different colors for fall and the pastels she had. I'm not posting this for a pat on the back, but more to share how God calls us to love our neighbors. Today maybe you find someone that has a need that you can try to meet even if it's just buying a plastic flower pen. 🌸🌼🌺Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

  1. This is undoubtedly the most special event venue in the city. We had 6 passed appetizers with the Liguria table which consisted of steamed veggies and fruits and breads. I didn't even care that I'd just been to another feast less than 12 hours ago. At Seattle Wedding venues I could not stop eating.

  2. I first heard of these flower delivery guys when an admirer sent my boss a bouquet for her birthday and it was quite beautiful. I was looking to send a gift and because of the NYC Flower Delivery received the loveliest call thanking me.
