Weekend Ready: July 28th

This week has dragged and dragged and dragged. I don't know if it's the weather or stress, but my energy levels are so low. I'm also chasing around an almost 4 month old puppy these days. (More to come). Life hasn't slowed down much in the past two months since the wedding. There's been a lot of change and exhaustion.  One day soon, I'll be updating around here, but for now it's the freaking weekend and I'm SO glad.

Watching: I'm rewatching One Tree Hill for the 900th time, so that's old news. But in new shows, I've been loving, The Bold Type, on FreeForm/ABC Family whatever. I've been living vicariously through the ladies working at a fictitious magazine based off Cosmo and I really love all the characters so far which is surprising for me.

Listening: I'm finally getting on the HAIM train and I've been listening to their newest album, Something To Tell You, a lot. Highly recommend.

Reading: I've been on an Audible binge as of late. I finished, What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love, a few weeks ago and I loved it! It's a memoir written by Carole Radziwill, of RHONY, but before that she was a journalist married to Anthony Radziwill, nephew of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and best friend of Caroline Bessett Kennedy. Now I'm onto two books: (can't stop, won't stop) Who Moved My Cheese?, for our monthly book for work and Nothing to Prove: Why We Can Stop Trying So Hard, something I desperately need to stop doing.

Loving@TheDarlingDuke He's been home with me for almost two months now, so this isn't a new love, but new to the blog. Duke is my Australian Shepherd puppy. He's the softest, snuggliest, and most mischievous little guy. I never thought I'd be THAT girl, but I've been overcome by Dog Mom life and my phone is now full of pictures of him. He also has an instagram because duh. He's still getting used to doing it for the gram. He's captured my heart even on weeks like this one where he's been a tad more puppy like than usual. haha

Weekend Plans: I'll be catching up on laundry and cleaning tomorrow because again...puppy, one who likes mud a lot. Sunday after teaching Sunday School, my cousin, Nicole, and I are going to get massages and hanging out at the spa. I can't wait.

  1. We had our wedding here and couldn’t have asked for anything more than what we got with the chef and staff. The food was amazing and my family is still raving about how great it was. The staff at San Francisco wedding venues was so on top of everything.
